Skirts are must-have in my wardrobe! I’m slowly building up my collection but I’d like to showcase a few of my favorites in this post. Although I live in Florida I really like Winter/Autumn pieces and colors. I may not be able to get away with full-on sweaters and pants during the peak of summer but I can usually get away with the skirts!
BLOOMBLOOM plaid mini skort < MEDIUM >
I purchased this from YESSTYLE recently! I’m eyeing a pair of block heels that will pair nicely with it too. It only cost me 14$ which was affordable, the quality isn’t skimped on either. From the front it looks like a skirt, from the back shorts. A total steal!
BRAND MARKET plaid mini skirt < MEDIUM >
I purchased this piece while I was in Korea! The store is located in Hongdae if you’re ever in the area. It’s probably where I shopped at the most because of it’s crazy cheap prices!! This skirt only cost me 7,000원 (no tax) which comes out to about 6$ and some change. The quality with everything in there was superb! I also have a dress with the same design.
GANGNAM STATION ruffle mini skort < MEDIUM >
Most of the clothes inside the Korean subway stations don’t really have any specific brands. This one was purchased inside Gangnam Station! If you’re looking for party clothes or pieces that look a little more high end without having to pay boutique prices this is the station for you! It also has shorts on the inside!
BANANA REPUBLIC plaid skirt < 00 >
Even though the size is labeled as a 00, it’s still on the bigger side toward the hips. This is a skirt I would wear with an over sized sweater. I’ve never been a big fan of the pleated school girl skirts but I do like the school girl look. This is the best of both worlds for me!
FOREVER 21 frayed denim mini skirt < SMALL >
I haven’t been able to find a denim skirt that fits my waist and doesn’t hug me. I really want to find a looser fit denim skirt! I still really love this one though and like to pair it with t shirts and over sized sweaters!
The first three skirts are in Korean/Asian sizing. Medium = 24-25 US waist size. An Asian 25 is different from a US 25! I am a 25 US waist size and a 27 Korean/Asian waist size. This is very important when ordering online!
